We're looking for an experienced engineer who understands the whole product and wants to influence technical decisions, with a clear path toward technical leadership and the opportunity to become a Tech Team Lead as our engineering organization expands.
What you’ll do
- Build backend services in Go and frontend applications in React and TypeScript.
- Own features and systems from design through implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Design and evolve APIs, services, data models, and system architecture.
- Participate in technical planning and influence engineering decisions.
- Improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Take part in deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production systems.
- Help establish engineering standards, best practices, and development processes.
- Take ownership of a development team, fostering growth, collaboration, and strong execution.
What you bring
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong technical education.
- Strong experience building and maintaining production software.
- Solid experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Experience with Go, or strong backend experience in Rust, Kotlin, Java, C#, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Solid computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with APIs, PostgreSQL, Git, and modern development workflows.
- Understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, and scalability challenges.
- Interest in DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, and operating software in production.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
